So does the siren go off or not? I do appreciate the info; I'm not trying to be a pain about it but I'd need to plan some to make the trip..... don't want it to be a wasted one :-)

Thanks again. This past Saturday around 10 AM or so a friend of mine actually called me from that Lowes. The siren was sounding behind him, and even through a cell phone conversation it sounded clean and not badly distorted. I understand the audio would be better from that distance; I'll just zoom i...

Nice work! Do they have a test schedule for LaVale? If so I'd like to make an attempt at a video.... if I remember there's a decent hill near the 3T22 to set up on.

My first apartment had a Model 5 on a tower, about 100 (give or take) feet away, on plane with my kitchen and bedroom windows. Apparently it enjoyed going off at night, as it happened so often. In Neenah, Wisconsin, a friend and I stood at the base of a pole carrying a T-128 during a test. Awesome. ...

Thank you, that's all I wanted to know! Regardless of its origin, it does sound interesting rolling across the fields early in the morning.

I understand that much, what I meant is if anyone familiar with the area would know if there is in fact a siren producing that sound rather than a church. It wouldn't surprise me if it is the latter, however if there is in fact an electronic siren located in the valley I'd be interested in finding o...

I know I'm bringing up an old post, but relax... it won't hurt anyone. I've been deer hunting in Cumberland (near Spring Gap) these past five or six weeks, and I have noticed that on Saturdays, around 8 AM, I can distinctly hear a Westminster chime rolling in from the distance as I sit in the woods....

I haven't been that way in some time but I'm guessing they haven't started using Hi-Lo again, have they?

I lived a mile from this siren a few years ago: http://www.jmarcoz.com/sirens/brunswick_md.jpg I've checked out this siren and its controls (which are at eye level). It's a 2t22, but there is a Thunderbolt logo on the control cabinet (I know this will probably result in everyone's 2 cents being thro...
