Wow, we did have Thunderbolts at one point. I recall crossing a 3T22 where you described seeing the 'bolt, and it was fairly new. It of course has been removed, but I have found some existing T22s: 1. Owasso HS 2. Hayward Smith Elementary 3. Ator Heights 4. Jeff Mills Elementary That makes a total o...

Owasso Thuderbolts

I have found evidence that Owasso used to have Thunderbolts, two to be exact. The only things I found were blower boxes. I believe EOWS 1212s replaced these; I only found the 1212 siren heads laying on the ground at a garage. The question is, did anyone live in the Tulsa metro in the sixties...

No. OKC used to have 1000T's until 2001, then switched to the Whelen WPS-2810 and Vortex. The only Thunderbolts I know of around there are in Norman or Moore, if Moore's are still operational. Bethany may have some, but I've only seen an Allertor 125. But, there are no Thunderbolts in OKC. All were ...

Had an identification question For the Faraday, it's a horn/strobe with three openings on each corner, strobe in the middle. Not sure what model number. http://www.freewebs.com/firealarms/000_0224.JPG And the next is another Faraday horn/strobe that looks like a big box with 5 vertical slits on the ...

I've seen cities removing the sirens themselves, and seen siren companies remove them. I think it depends on what a city, county, etc. wants to do with the sirens.

It was somewhere around Groom in the Panhandle, but I didn't know exactly where it was. It looked new too, so it may not be on Google maps.

It's 6024, but is there maybe a custom order available?

Question about siren distance

My town just got a new ATI HPSS32 installed, I think today, but it's a half mile away from two other HPSS32 units, and I wondered if that new siren will be useless since the sound travels about a mile away. Anyone know?
