I have had a lot of thunderbolts apart and I have never seen anything like that. Is that a tube that this thing is attached to? It sure looks like it in the pic. Is there a screw or bolt down in the bottom of the tube attaching it to the armature shaft? I have no I idea what the purpose of that cou...

Thunderbolt help

Ok, so I've been working on my thunderbolt, and it has some sort of metal butterfly on the end of the rod. Is this some sort of nut holding it on? Also, the motor won't come off the chopper cap! Please help! :TBolt:

Thunderbolt Bearings

Hello everyone! So, im currently in the process of restoring my Thunderbolt 1000 Single phase B series siren, but need to know the correct bearings and brushes to get! Does anyone know the bearing and brush numbers, or could send a link? Thanks, Nicholas K

Sounds like it's running pretty good! Yes sir! Runs like a champ, and has great brushes/bearings. Im buying a new leg and a housing for it. The only problem with it was it would not run when I first got it because the rings around the brushes that supply power were SUPER loose and were off the brus...
