Soldier Field Siren Update

So a little while ago, I stated that my dad remembered a Thunderbolt 1000T at Soldier Field in Chicago, I could not find satellite imagery or photos of this siren. So I assumed it did not exist. However, during a game I could hear the wind up and wind down. Lastly, I found an article stating the use...

Regardless, I feel malnourished, tired, but proud of doing this.
This is not okay. There's no project worth being malnourished. Stop, slow down. Sirens aren't that important.
Yo, I'm joking. Although I spent a total of around 16 hours doing this, I'm fine.

Siren And Installation Costs

Hey everyone! So I've been producing a Siren Simulator type of game, I won't reveal much but a main feature is money and cost. With this, I require real life costs of sirens. I was wondering, does anybody know of where I can get these costs? (Siren itself, pole or mount installation, and maintenence...

Re: Chicago Air Raid Siren System DOCUMENTS FOUND!

So a few nights ago, Logan (Tbolthurricane on Youtube) contacted me stating that through some research, he found a website that showed documents of the old Chicago Civil Defense siren system from 1958! As you could expect I was speechless! The documents even showed the locations and models of Chica...

Wow and they installed a new fleet of T-128's not too long ago. What a waste.
Indeed, it is a waste. Another is the point they were qute effective in 1979 when the disaster took place, no deaths resulted because the warning system worked.

Re: Lowest mounted Siren in US

I found a very short mount aswell, a Federal Signal 2001-SRN is mounted and doesn't even make it 1/4 the water tower height.
