Indeed, it is a waste. Another is the point they were qute effective in 1979 when the disaster took place, no deaths resulted because the warning system worked.

Damn! That's pretty low, probably to the point where the camera is in line with it.

I found a very short mount aswell, a Federal Signal 2001-SRN is mounted and doesn't even make it 1/4 the water tower height.
