I also think it is a pneumatic siren. I see barely any room for a chopper. Lightning detector. Has the dome, the light, the loudspeakers, can't imagine it's anything else. While I don't think it's a pneumatic siren, I also highly doubt its a lightning detector siren, considering; 1) How old it is, and 2) Why use a lightning detector siren for fire calls and general emergencies? Maybe the reason we cant identify it is because it might have a homemade hood? It's not un...

It's a siren. According to the FD it's at, it was purchased from Germany. Do they know anything about it's type? It's clearly nothing we've ever heard of.
