How was that achieved?
3D-printed (or otherwise custom-fabricated) 12 port chopper, is what I've heard. (Don't quote me on this, though.)

Help finding a video of an STH-10 getting knocked down

Some years ago, I saw a short video (most likely on YouTube Shorts) of a Federal Signal STH-10 siren getting knocked down by some construction equipment. It was just a bog-standard dark gray STH-10 mounted on a wooden pole. I've been looking far and wide but haven't been able to find the video. If a...

Re: Thunderbolt Variants and What They Mean.

The official service manual only lists 6 models: https://www.civildefensemuseum.com/sirens/manuals/thunderbolt/Tbolt-2.pdf Service manual for Series B Thunderbolt: https://www.civildefensemuseum.com/sirens/manuals/thunderbolt/Tbolt-3.pdf And it looks like the oldest Thunderbolts may only have had th...

The do weekly tests now, each Friday at noon (12:00 PM). They will be growl tests, no longer short alert blasts.

It’s nice that they chose a siren with a mostly similar sound to the rm-130🙂
I thought so too, until I found out it was an Equinox and not a 2001-130. So it'll sound pretty much just like a T-128.

Re: Unrecorded and Undocumented Active Siren Locations list

Most of the sirens in Ardmore, Oklahoma are unrecorded, including the new Federal Signal Equinox just recently installed (replaced the courthouse RM-130).

Some of the old RM-130s were photographed before they were removed. Only one ambience video exists of them sounding off during a tornado warning.

Re: Ardmore, Oklahoma: ASC RM-130 reportedly replaced

Quick update: It's not a 2001-130....it's an EQUINOX!!! Also, Ardmore has apparently switched all their siren controllers and activation system from ASC to Federal Signal.
