Re: Electric Custer siren map

42.247320, -74.145285 Scout Camp: There are no uninvited guests allowed, as usual. But I stayed there a few years back and took some photos. There is also a 360-degree view there, and the siren is visible. Custer electric basically never left Rush County, much less the state of Indiana.. No way tha...

Re: Thunderbolt Help

I am not worried about the blower because there are substitutes available. I think that getting a control box would be the more difficult part, because I live in Florida and there is not a place like West Shore Services near me. Try eBay maybe? I found a couple but they’ll set you back at least $800

It’s not a Whelen anything. It’s just speakers hooked up to the church bell system

Re: McKenzie, TN sirens... dead as a doorknob... maybe?

I am so so sorry but this really isn’t the place for this. None of us are going to protest and rally because this is a matter that needs to be taken up somewhere else, not on an enthusiast forum.

I am probably wrong, but it looks to be a Grifco 888.
I do not even understand how you came to this conclusion....

It's like you read the word "australia" and just picked out the most representative Australian siren

Re: Questions about Sellafield's Alarms

Quick update, I asked one last time about finding out the model of the alarms, and Sellafield replied saying "Morning Sherwyn, I will try and find out and come back to you." With a bit of luck, we might be onto something. :D If you scroll up I found videos of them. They’re Hormanns or som...

I'm sure that's probably intentional. The sound is angled upwards so aircraft overhead can hear the siren :-D
Its not intentional. If you go back to earlier street view it's not leaning
