The tag literally says it has a 7 HP motor, so it’s a model 7. The Model 7 did not exist in 1981 when Trojan’s sirens were installed at the earliest. Federal Signal had long before dropped the 5HP siren from their lineup and at that point were calling their 7.5 HP shrouded omni siren the “Model 5”....

Definitely not. Core would be upside down, plus it’s only got 6 ports. I’ll say it’s one of those Japanese electromechanical sirens, looks pretty much identical to some of the designs I’ve seen.
