(Not sure about finbacks), as I was told that the fin on the back was to better distribute bigger winds, as older Vortexes had belt-driven rotator. The wind could damage the rotating system. I think they are in production since mid or lat...

Well, I looked up Whelen Vortex R3, and it still has 4 throats. Is one of the throats empty without a driver?

They are the same, how do I know which is which. They look the same and sound the same. Please tell me how to distinguish them. Thanks.
