Re: siren in German Valley IL?

I'm going with vent. It's not a fire station anymore, and I doubt it's an active village hall. Edit: also agreeing with above, it appears to be mounted right above a chimney. It wouldn't be a bad idea to compile a thread of "common chimney vents" to cross-reference, since quite a few look ...

Re: Rare First Generation SD-10 Found

Well, since the thread is back again, I should add that the SD-10 that used to be on the Schenectady City Hall was bandless. I can't remember if the one at the football field on Balltown Rd. was as well. The whole system in that city was ancient.

Re: Upstate and Western N.Y. Inactive Sirens

Went on another excursion. This time I was on the far west side of the state for a special trip, as you can see.
Edit: It's a Model D, my apologies for the misprint.

Upstate and Western N.Y. Inactive Sirens

Hey all, I was driving through NY and snagged a couple of pictures along the way.
Here's the streetview of the Thunderbolt; compared to my picture, it rotated 90 degrees.

For all we know, these could be Secomak GP3s that were modified by a local company... That's certainly a possibility, as Pennsylvania even has a modified Carter floating around. I'd ...

Re: ATI all signals....

Has ATI ever updated their tone panels, or are these the factory options they've been releasing since getting into the siren business?
