Re: ACA Hurricane locations help

I thought only one hurricane was left? In wisconsin The Hurricane in Milwaukee is the last one in service, but not the last in existence. Several are in private possession. I did forget to say as well that the Garland Hurricane was removed in 2004 and sold in an auction to a member on the siren boa...

Re: Vintage siren photos thread

Today I remembered this thread existed. Here's some various vintage photos I've found from Facebook posts at various air force and radar installations across the US, Canada, and Thailand. 425318014_10161921516105934_4258456939307689812_n.jpg CFS Holberg, British Columbia, Canada. Re: Games with Sirens in them.

Can't exactly remember which game this is, but there was a post made on Facebook a while back that showed a tower-mounted FS Model 5 atop a small brick building in what looked like to be some sort of racing game, maybe Forza or NFS.

Re: Copy cats?

Not only do I reply to my own posts…I also wait 12 years to finally share photos/videos. Not wanting to continue a bumped thread from 14 years ago but, wow. That's impressive. Isn't that one of those smaller "USI" sirens that were made for home intrusion alerting, just with a second rotor?

Re: Uniquely Mounted Sirens Thread

Logistically, this Thunderbolt isn't odd, but its mount is rather unique. I do actually appreciate the way how it was made with maintenance access in mind. They can't be using the ladder that much. The paint condition speaks to that  I always thought siren mounts with a maintenance platform we...

If it’s called 1003 because it can do 3 signals, that’s what Fs said, would a 1000 be a 1002 for its two signals?
No... just, no...
