I found the northernmost siren in the US (Not even the Modulators or Model 2) in Barrow, Alaska!

Re: NEW northernmost US siren; three sirens in one Arctic town, and even more awaiting to be discovered in the Arctic

Yup, and we'll most likely be working on this together until we find every last radar siren on the list

NEW northernmost US siren

Today, Cody Pearson told me of a Model 5 in Sanirajak, a town that I only found a 7V8 in. I found the siren, but while I was also looking around at more images of the airport, I found a second Model 5, in the same airport! Then, he got the cool idea to scan all DEW (northern Alaskan and Arctic missi...

Re: Found two sirens at the Greater Binghamton Airport in NY. Possible C1 1/2??

Thanks, but either way I think it's cool that they're in nearly line-of-sight with eachother

Found two sirens at the Greater Binghamton Airport in NY.

I was looking around at weather radars in the country and found two sirens at KBGM airport. I think the Federal is inactive and MIGHT be a C1 1/2? The WPS-2904 also has a really close and cool street view. Federal Model 3/5 C2 1/2 (I thought it was a C1 at first) https://www.google.com/maps/@42.2076...

Please remove the map jurisdiction polygon, or move to a different layer, it obstructs the view. Otherwise, great map, it's cool to see sirens marked in a region that otherwise gets overlooked.
It is in a different layer, and thanks!

Re: The Official Arctic Siren Map

Added a couple new locations, most notably in northern Ontario. There is this one very specific town in Greenland that just completely removed my motivation for the country. I considered skipping or just stealing only the other maps' locations but I'll just wait until I'm ready to map it there inste...

Chryslers in Portland, OR?

I was looking at a CD film looking at what could've happened if Portland, OR was struck by nuclear weapons during the Cold War. At this timestamp, it looks like a possible Portland Chrysler was sounding off? They do look like siren towers of Seattle, but I figure they might have been just a common/g...

Re: The FS 508 siren map

There is one in Slave Lake Alberta behind the town building next to the railroad tracks so far that's the only 508 I found in Canada Yup. 55.28226734394915, -114.77475395951672 It was installed in 2014 but it's inactive now since maintenance cost and operating cost was too much for the town to hand...
