Re: Cincinnati Metropolitan Area Sirens

I was going to down the side street next to the new restaurants and student hangout, to get a better view, but it was blocked off. I will try to go down it one day next week when I am off of work.

Re: Cincinnati Metropolitan Area Sirens

While driving down Calhoun today, I looked up at the top of Calhoun Hall and noticed that the Thunderbolt is still there. I also noticed that there was a T-128 on top of the building now as well. It was hard to get a good look at it, but from what I could tell, it was in a bad location. Part of soun...

Re: Cincinnati Metropolitan Area Sirens

After the test in October, I will have to drive past the St. Bernard T-Bolt to see if that one is still active.

Re: Cincinnati Metropolitan Area Sirens

Well, the Thunderbolt on top of Calhoun Hall at UC no longer seems to be active. I'm a freshman here, and after I pulled in from my commute from home, I stood where I could see the Thunderbolt, and all I could hear were at least 3 T-128s. Andy, did you notice that it was tilting too? I wonde...

Re: Cincinnati Metropolitan Area Sirens

I went past the Calhoun Thunderbolt last Friday and it was kind of hard to see, but it looked it was tilting a little bit. However, I did not see a T-128 on or near Calhoun Hall.

Re: Cincinnati Metropolitan Area Sirens

I was driving through downtown tonight and I saw the Thunderbolt as well on top of the Federal Building. I also drove past the Polk Building on Pike Street and the only siren I saw was the Thunderbolt.

Re: Cincinnati Metropolitan Area Sirens

I looked the aerial view of Carew Tower on Bing and panned northeast. The T-128 could be on top of the Federal Building downtown, or on top of the 5/3 building on Fountain Square. I think there used to be a Thunderbolt of top of the Federal Building. The T-128 could of replaced that.

Re: Cincinnati Metropolitan Area Sirens

The T-bolt on top of the firehouse on Harrison Avenue in Westwood is still there. The T-Bolt on top of the old Clifton School is there as well.

Re: Cincinnati Metropolitan Area Sirens

St. Bernard T-bolt is still there, and I believe it is still active, as when I drive past it after a monthly test, the horn is facing a different direction. Oak Hills High School T-bolt is still here, but is not active. It has not been active since before the new T-128 was installed. The T-bolt on t...
