Hi. I am looking for tech and installation information on the Sterling Model M. The motor tag is missing and I am looking for the different brands of motors used and the wiring for them to set them up for different voltages. This siren is single phase. Ant help or leads would be greatly appreciated....

1953 they went from Federal Electric to Federal Enterpises.

Do Cyclones require the special starter set up with capacitors or do they operate with a standard 3 phase motor starter ? Thanks.

Hi Guys. I had a bit of a brain fart when I started restoring this siren and didn't mark the start capacitor leads. Would someone tell me where the leads go in relation to the motor wires and the power wires ? Thanks.

Well the answer to that is they did put the fedelcode logo on non-coded sirens. I have one. It has been 50 ft up on a courthouse for as long as I can remember and I'm in my 50s. It was never coded.
