Thought I'd also report back on the Allertor behind the car dealership on County F & US 61 in White Bear Lake as well. It doesn't work. All the siren does is make a faint hum when it's supposed to start. I think it's truly sad to see in my opinion...

Shot this siren during Minnesota's severe weather week last Wednesday. This siren, according to comments, has undergone a chopper change, turning it from a 1000 to a 1000T.

Thanks for all the compliments on the siren clip, guys. I didn't know that I recorded such a rare find until you told me that it was. Hopefully the Allertor behind the dealership is a 10/12 port too. I'm looking forward to recording it for sure!

The two Allertors are a little more than a mile apart. I'd probably be able to hear the T'bolt from city hall pretty good, but I don't know about the Allertors specifically.

I think I was in a similar recording range from the siren to hear the blower in both videos (usually I hang back about 150 feet from the siren base or so). The only difference between the two was that there was a lot of wind with the City Hall recording, and a lack of it at this one.
