Yes! All those Whelens are in Sullivan,MO. They all seem to be very close to each other.

Yea, STH-10s are supposed to peak at about 690 I believe. This one specifically sounded a tad shrill to my ear, probably why I thought it was so high pitched.

That's probably one of the highest pitched STH-10s I've ever heard. It seems to measure at about 685 hz.

I recently siren hunted around 3 central Missourian counties (Crawford,Franklin and Phelps). The results are A couple of Whelens, a 2T22,3T22, a 2001 and two Model 5/7s.

This allertor seems to have a gas tank below it, although it does have electrical wires leading to it. Was it converted?

It sounds like a stuck damper... yet at some times it sounds like a whole different siren.

There's someone on the internet selling Model As for $750 a piece. Well at least he's trying to sell them.
