Here's a clip I found of the Madison Parish, LA tornado recorded across the Mississippi River in Vicksburg, MS. The siren heard is a Federal EOWS*612 which I was able to find on maps.live.com. I love how you hear the thunder boom right as the siren winds up. Very spooky! http://www.youtube.com/watc...

lol, acts likie a snow blower to me. You could take snow from your driveway or whatever, pack it into the siren and have the siren blow it away :lol:

Another resident, Chris Kent, Southwest Greensburg police chief, said he thinks it would be a disservice if the department is forced to disable its siren because the area is notorious for poor radio, pager and cell signals. All the better to HAVE the siren so you can warn the area of severe weather...

Really? Sentry means Cent-tree? Or are you guessing? As for the 15V2T why is it only 12 volts? Shouldn't it be 15 for the "15V" part?

If you only activated the chopper for one or two seconds at a time, you may be able to get a better whoop out of a 1003, but it would have to be low pitched, and there would have to be 3 to 5 second pauses between each chopper activation. The only think I remember from the firehouse was that it started with an H and had NO 1 on the front facing the road.
