Low-Mounted Red STH-10 Found!

Like the title says, I found a low-mounted red STH-10 on route 9 South in Lakewood, NJ today! I don't have photos I'm afraid but I do know that it's not in the greatest shape and is mounted on a small FD. Just thought I'd report my finding. :)

I'm thinking it's because the siren sounds far away the entire time. If it had a working rotator, it would get louder at points.

I find it puzzling that they say the Whelen is "fully operational" at 112db but they also said it was fully operational at 129db. In my book, 129 means fully operational not 112.
