Re: Thunderbolt Issue

Still stuck on the chopper cap not wanting to come off the housing. It appears the chopper itself is seized, won't turn when I poke at it with a screwdriver. Not sure if that has anything to do with the cap not coming off What are you calling the "chopper housing", do you mean the steel t...

Thank you to everyone who made a donation thus far. Enough donations came in that I went ahead an prepaid the hosting. It would be awesome if over the rest of 2009, a few more trickled in and covered that completely :-) P.S. if you made a donation and would like your profile to bear the "Board ...

Re: Paypal... over the years, I've used my sole Paypal account for ebay, donations from this board and the horn & whistle board as well as part of the shopping cart system for my wife's doll clothes business. This is why you see airraidsirens.com, shiphorns.com, blythemode.com and other domain n...

Board Donations Urgently Needed

Hey everyone. Google Ad revenue is now insignificant from this board, and '07 and '08 donations covered the board hosting cost through mid-2008. Since then, I've been paying for the board myself, with the help of just two donations in the past 12 months (which together covered 1 month of hosting). I...

2T22 in Model 5/7 style housing

In the past few years, while I wasn't paying a lot of attention to this board, did anyone ever find out for certain what the siren was called that was basically a horn-less 2T22 in a model 5 style "firecracker" housing?

Anyone own one, or have detailed photos?

There are good arguments for several of the top BB applications, but staying within the phpBB family will make things much easier for migrating the data. I can close down this board for a day and save the entire database out to .sql files, which another installation of phpBB can read in to recreate ...

Sounds like phpbb3 with additional BBCodes. :) I'm all for that, just please do not use the new phpbb theme, use the classic one. The new one is horrible if you ask me. Sounds good to me too. This is exactly the solution I went with when I set up http://www.hornwhistleboard.com I took the then-beta...

Firstly, thank you to everyone offering to help with hosting. I have had cheaper hosting plans in the past, but email and uptime have been issues. My personal experience with the "unlimited everything, $6/month" hosting companies is that they are massively oversold and hard to get in touch...
