Robert, if you are so worried about DC backup, you'd just be better off buying a new siren. Just recently, me and Pyramid Head saw 4 612s and 4 1212s from Avon OH go up for bid for around 650 each. A much cheaper alternative than to what your suggesting. But they've already been removed from E-bay. ...
