The Borough of Carlisle at 1 time had 5 fire departments, the two shown are the Federal Fire Siren at the former Empire Hook and Ladder Company and the Model 5 at the current Union Fire Company (there is also a Diaphone in the bell tower out front), the only former station to not have a siren at it ...
This is almost a full year bump on this topic, but I had a friend of mine who lives in upstate New York take a drive over to Attica, NY to check about the Soundmaster possibly for the fire department. He said he knew their siren was on the police station so he headed there to find a....... brand new...
Not sure if this is even a siren or not, but this is at the Undine FC in Bellefonte, PA which already has an SD-10. It's mounted on the roof at the front of the station inside of a rusted containment of sorts. My best guess is that if it is a siren, it would've been the predecessor to the SD-10. ht...

That siren at Italian Lake is actually part of the old Harrisburg City Civil Defense System, there used to be quite a few of those SD-10's around the city. That one at Italian Lake is the only SD...
At first glance you are going to say to me "Dave you dumbie, that is clearly a Model 5 that someone modified"...but have a look at it, good and close... do you see the standard sloppy weld marks or poopoo craftsmanship that is normally found in sirens that someone modified? I don't and I w...
I considered this pretty epic just due to it's height, can't recall a pole mounted siren being any higher than this..... can't imagine it is all that loud in town, probably can hear it 2 towns away though LOL
