FS&S Model A Controller

Hello, I have recently purchased a Federal Sign & Signal Model A (my first siren), without any sort of controllers or plugs. I was wondering if I need to use an AR or AF timer, or if it is as simple as just soldering the wire to an outlet plug. Any help with this information would be greatly app...

Re: If you could build your own siren system for your city, what would you use?

For my area, probably Equinoxes for the more populated areas and Eclipses for the less populated areas. If it had to be electronic, then probably Mod 6024s instead of the Equinox locations and Mod 1004s or 2008s instead of the Eclipses.

That looks to me like a tiny Darley on a regular sized pole.
Oh yeah. Probably a Model 2.

Fairly low mounted Model 2 in Manville, NJ. It looks bigger in real life.

Northern New Jersey Siren tests

Hello, I live in northern NJ. I have caught only 2 (yes, only 2) siren tests in my area for my YouTube channel, and I was wondering if anyone happens to know about any sirens that are NOT Model 2s that do regular tests in the area. (I do not want to film a 3rd Model 2.) Does anybody know of any good...

Low model 5 I found on the internet
Dear Lord that looks huge!
I've stood next to that one in real life before. I live like 30 minutes away from it. It is REALLY low. It is a Model 7A, by the way.
