Interesting. I did see an article saying they wanted to replace some sirens, but only heard of them replacing the controls and possibly the sirens them selfs. And if Sedgwick County did get new sirens, they signal procedues would probably be the same (Alert - Tornadoes Attack - National Emergency) ...

I came across this article back in 2008... When i got back from Vacation. The County has considered "Speedier Action" on the outdoor warning system. The sirens were first installed in late 1955 and into 1960. At the time the city of wichita could only afford 13 to cover the city. Sedgewick...
