Interesting that they are deciding to replace the system, especially with one unit aging only from last year. It would be sweet to see Sentry get the bid for this one. Then maybe a trip to Salina would be worth my while. I need some variety!

This would fit in - no doubt! I used to have a collection myself, but wound up selling it off. I had everything from a 4051 to a Truealert - and a few notable rares. I might just buy it all back for the hell of it!

I went to a middle school that had a system of Simplex TrueAlerts on a Simplex 4100U. In the gym and cafeteria were the old '50s style Edwards Adaptahorns. They never failed to get our attention when we had a fire drill. They put the other alarms to shame.

I have always looked at it like this; they totally named the 2001 series after "2001: A Space Odyssey."
