Oh, I didn't know it's been discussed multiple times, sorry. Weren't there supposedly 2 at one point? I thought there were, but I might be wrong. Thanks though! That is definitely an E-57 and has been confirmed numerous times as well as discussed. Probably a remnant of Hormann America’s huge presence in California before ASC was created.

The person to ask with any of these questions is most certainly DJ2226. He did a ton of research a couple years ago and the thread still exists on this board.

I can answer one of your questions, which is that they don’t all sound the same. WAVES sirens are the prime examples, as far as I know they have never used European tones despite sourcing their boards from SirCom.
