Re: Sentry Siren

Sentry Siren did make a custom 10V2T with solenoids back in the 1980's - there was even a photo somewhere that I saw a few years ago. Not sure where it is, would be nice if I could dig it up. I'll be in Nashville tomorrow to catch the new sirens for the first test. So far I've been contemplating either the Bellevue Middle School or the 508 that my dad sees just about every day just before the Bellevue exit on I-40. Should be interesting nonetheless! Never heard a 508 in person. Not many ...

I found this yesterday... The Modulator II http://www.alertnotification.com/ModulatorIISiren_9633.aspx Cellular and satellite communication? Hmm...... I see the potential for failure. I wouldn't solely trust those means. I'd have a few different ways of activating them in place. Regardless, that wo...

Messing with the pitch settings on my Thunderbolt.. 12/19/12

So I wanted to see what my Thunderbolt sounded like on low pitch settings while getting some feedback from distant neighbors on test day. First I set it on Level 1 (level 2 on my tap, since mine is single phase) for alert then level 2 (level 3 on my tap) for attack mode. Needless to say it was still...

I'll see if I can borrow the Tahoe to ride out to OK with. I don't mind carpooling, I've done it before without issues. I may opt in for a hotel room since I absolutely cannot sleep in heat and especially not humidity LOL.
