Don't understand why a lightning strike would cause that.
I'm assuming it's controlled by a PLC of some sort; a surge could have corrupted its ROM or just damaged its output(s.)

'nother one with a 2T chopper, eh.
That's the longest wind down i have ever seen, the horn was still rotating like 30secs after it had shut down
yeah, the blower's still running too, you can hear the ffpt-ffpt-ffpt through the chopper at about 3:34.

Three boxes...different color siren head....I bet that T-bolt was originally a 1003 that had it's head replaced with a 1000. maybe it's the light or the angle, but the pole it's mounted on looks like it has some overspray at the top. I'd wager they shot a couple coats of paint on it while it was up...

You would be amazed at the speed these crackheads can steal.
it's like one of my old co-workers said- "It amazes me how hard some people will work in order to avoid having a job."

Woah I wonder what they are going to use with that?Ha maybe they are going to run an electric speed boat yacht
if it's anything like the Federal DC sirens, they're just 12 volt car or marine/deep cycle batteries wired in series. can be used just about anywhere.

That "high-pitched" 1003 doesn't sound like anything of the sort. It sounds more like a model 5 or a 2001. The wind-down is totally wrong for a T-bolt, single-tone or otherwise.

I have never heard of a 100 HP motor...
we have a hydraulic vibration table where I work which is driven by a 125 hp electric motor. It's 600VAC, three phase, and about 2300 lbs.
