is the cost of the timer/controller rolled into the "2001-130DCFCT" line item? I'm guessing so, due to the "FC" part. IF so, $11k is honestly a lot cheaper than I thought a 2001 would cost- not addressing the remote infrastructure, of course.

Some systems I've seen, if you stick your head hear the subwoofers, you literally get dizzy and your eyes spin. I'm not sure why, but it doesn't hurt your ears all that much. Maybe it has something to do with the lower frequencies? our hearing is actually most sensitive in the midrange (800Hz-4 or ...

St. Clair Shores, MI (where I live) has five 2001s, installed in the mid 90s. I live about 1/8th mile from the southernmost one. Generally I can hear them, the 2001s in the Grosse Pointes, and the Thunderbolts in Harper Woods. Past that, I couldn't tell you.

Where are you at in Michigan? St. Clair Shores. we didn't have a system at all until the mid 90s, when they installed five 2001s. before that, you had to hope you would hear Harper Woods' T-bolts.
