Re: Rolling Fork MS gets new warning system

Looks like Sentry donated the new siren. Sirens For Cities (Southeastern US Sentry distributor) handled the new siren installation and Table Rock Alerting handled the refurbishing of Rolling Fork's Federal 2001. Also the activation system was repaired. Looks like the 2001 only really needed some new...

Rolling Fork MS gets new warning system

In the aftermath of deadly and destructive tornadoes in MS earlier this year, one of the hardest hit communities gets an upgrade in warning capabilities. Big props to Sentry Sirens, Table Rock Alerting, and Sirens For Cities for making it happen. Here's the story from ABC affiliate WAPT in Jackson M...

Re: McKenzie, TN sirens are getting replaced!!

"Different pitches" probably means they'll sound them in attack mode similar to what Davidson County did several years ago.

Re: Sedgwick County KS scrapping current system.

Pure conjecture on my part but I think their problems were more with the activation system than the sirens themselves.

Re: New sirens coming for St Clair County IL

If ATI is what they're getting its still much better than what they have now. They've ironed out the bugs for the most part. Arnold MO's have served them well for 15 years and they are in use at a number of military bases and some larger cities. Are they the finest sirens ever? No. But they'll funct...

Trimble MO ASC

Trimble which is in NW MO in Clinton County has installed a tornado siren. Something long overdue. It appears to be an ASC T128. According to my dad, who lives there, it was purchased used. That's all I know about it. Good choice as it should cover the town very well and possibly carry to Smithville...
