On July 27TH 2022, I got a special chance to watch One of the Ginna power plants ACA P-10's get replaced. The P-10 was Siren 77 located at the Williamson Fire department in Williamson NY. The siren was replaced due to it having a broken intake and rotator issues, I recorded this siren in May for it...
To clear things up. 1. This is in Latvia, they are known to have a systemwide of these types of sirens and a few other sirens that are Russian as well. 2. The photo that is linked was screenshotted from a video from YouTube, I was going to link it here so you people can see but I can't seem to find...
That does appear to be a LK-2001. Latvia has real 2001s on their system, so I don't think this is one of theirs. Given the flags behind it, it's probably in Russia. That first one definitely looks alot like super sirex. What a find! The second one fooled me too when i found it a couple years ago, but upon clo...

I tracked down another Howler about 10 miles away from the Cologne MN ACA Howler. Do you mean the one in Hamburg or somewhere else? I know ther used to be one in Norwood Young America but it was replaced a few years back by -of all things- a thunderbeam Wait, where in Norwood Young America? 44.7821...
everyone complains that this thing is overrecorded but there's a dang reason for it! One of the best sounding units still out there, and one of the few dual tone 6M units that has the nice pulse sound.
