The third one down on the list (The one taken by Ty Bellfy) was discovered not too long ago to be a vertical B&M siren. Actually he said that it's not B&M, but I'm not sure about that, it's pretty difficult to say who is right and who's wrong actually... I hope this VFD station will finally...

Hello everyone I've seen in some pictures old/abandonned sirens combined with air horns, like not the Gamewell Diaphones but real truck air horn or something like that, what was the point of them? I don't find any threads specialized for this type of setup so, I made one ! Do someone here have also ...

The thing is that I've seen quite a few pictures of them, and they appear to be either 9 ports or 12 ports (I guess?) For the HP I didn't knew but look at the pictures, it seems that there is two models of this siren, one with the 9 ports and one with the 12 ports, and the one with the 9 ports looks...

Bump. Let me try to clear this up for you. The Weltex sirens are 9 port, with the chopper/stator assembly on the bottom and the motor on top. The chopper and motor is supported by legs. The motor is covered with a Model 5-like "Paint Can" shroud. It has 1 louver in the middle of a cylinde...
