Re: “Twin” Siren Setups

I haven’t really heard people discuss setups like these such, so I thought I would start a topic on it. Have you ever found two or more of the same siren together? It’s rare, but there are some examples. Ok, that’s what I intended it to be at first, but I think I’m going to go ahead and expand the ...

In Greenville, TX, There is a ACA Hurricane (now dead) next to a P-15.
Ah, can’t forget that one. I heard from someone There is an ATI not far from that setup, replacing the P-15 that in turn replaced the hurricane which died. Is this true?

Re: Unknown use for siren in Pittsburgh

Many cities back in the Cold War had Civil Defense Sirens to warn of attacks and air raids. This is Likley an old CD siren, considering it’s model and location. Anyway, nice find and welcome to the forum!

Chemung/Schuyler County, New York Sirens

My grandparents live in Chemung County, in the southern tier portion of upstate New York State (Heck, I even lived there once ). Therefore I know a lot of sirens in those counties. There is some pretty cool stuff too. Here are just a few: STH-10 at Southport VFD: https://www.google.com/maps/place/10...

Peachtree could probably say more, but there is a 5 setup in Galax, VA with not two but three 5s on it.
Oh yeah, that’s a famous one. It was once called a Fedelcode Model 20.
