Failed 2t22A Drumright, Oklahoma

Hey Everyone I went to film a newly rebuilt 2t22A but it never went off. I found out they moved the time to 11:45 A.M. but was later told that it failed so even if they tested at 12:00 P.M. I would not have a video of it going off. At the time of this upload they do not know what's wrong. This is th...

Did she really say in the event of a real emergency the sirens will not turn off? Say something happens for 1-2 hours straight are you really going to sound them for that amount of time?

Re: Repaired 2t22A in Drumright, Oklahoma

Nice video and siren! Is that one of your Sentrys I hear in the background at the beginning? Thanks! They spent about $2900 just on the siren and the city is very proud of it. I don't know what the costs were for the other equipment was. Hard to say I don't think so but there is a 5V near there tha...

Yes could be. They also replaced the overhead lines going to it when they reinstalled everything. That was the first time we have done that.

Repaired 2t22A in Drumright, Oklahoma

Hey Everyone! I was having a hard time deciding which 2t22A to go to today Duke or Cherry. They were both recently repaired with a new pole, new disconnect, and new starter. The sirens also got a much nicer paint job then the 2t22A that was repaired last year. I was told Cherry had been fixed. The E...

It would love it if I could get a video of the thunderbeam before they take it down but I doubt it considering they test once a month on a random day and a random time.
