Re: Lisco, NE mystery siren

To me, it almost looks like a Model Q without its chrome bits and motor cover. I could be wrong. That's what it is. A Q2B without a chrome cover and without a motor. Of all things, why a Model Q2B? I'm guessing now that they didn't have the budget for a Model A or another small siren, so they proba...

Re: Mystery Siren in Jankowice, Poland

Attached is a link to the siren in question. It appears similar to a Modulator/iForce but isn't exactly. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas of what this could be: https://www.google.com/maps/@50.0473927,18.5635765,3a,18.5y,125.3h,117.74t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s8OGK2mB-BZR52o8rwCwCAw!2e0!7i13312!8i...

If I’m correct, that’s $2,250. Not 27. But that is cheap for a 2001, since they go for 11,000 new without equipment and installation, but my math skills and number stuff is absolutely trash.
That's in INR, or Indian dollars. 2250 INR is 27 American dollars.

I doubt they're actually selling 2001s. Notice the decals on the rotator have all been photoshopped off. It's more likely they just stole the image, and their actual product is a weatherproof fire alarm sounder.
I doubt it, as that's pretty much illegal.

Re: Kit Carson Mystery siren

Im not sure either. There's another one in Pennsylvania. Look by the radio tower. http://www.jmarcoz.com/sirens/parkesburg.jpg I think that's just an antenna attached to the tower. If you look closely, you can see mounts going from the antenna to the tower, and by the lighting you can kind of tell ...
