What type of siren is it? More than likely it's a radio malfunction, but someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I figured that while we had the VP of sentry with us I might as well ask, is it possible Sentry might try to make an electronic siren? I know you guys don't like them, but they do offer more options such as voice, and more signals than a mechanical siren. Do you think that maybe a "coded" ...

True, but most cities don't use attack for tornadoes. They use alert. It's only eerie under the right circumstances. (Power, acoustics, model, etc.)

I honestly don't think that 2001s are good sirens. Just today a friend told me that he thought his sirens sounded like fire trucks. I agree with him too. They need to sound less like a fire truck, and more like an outdoor warning siren.

Well, for starters ACA is out of business. They were bough out by ASC. Plus this siren is no longer manufactured. ASC does make electronic sirens, the E-class and I-FORCE, but they aren't rotating, and the problem was likely in the rotator or control units. You can get 100-W drivers off the shelf, ...
