Re: Active 1000T in Richardson, TX?

I don't think it is but I could be wrong, I know the 2t22s that were left were disconnected.

By the way the siren is at station 3, station 4 was being constructed when the current satellite image was taken.

Re: Siren Pricing Help

As far as the best electronic sirens for voice is the I force from ASC, but it is expensive. So they came out with the ATI/Federal look alike I think Whelen's close to giving ASC a run for their money on voice clarity with their new drivers. I'm sure federal has made advances on the modulator II bu...

Re: ATI Siren Users

Garland,TX also replaced their ATI's with Whelen's a little over a year ago. Yes, they did and they even went as far as pulling the plug on the siren system as a whole because of how many issues they had. They've since replaced them with new Whelen Vortex units in 2013 and have had much better luck...

Re: Federal-5 rotor

The 12 port rotor is the common rotor option for model 5s, so its not super rare but isn't super easy to find either. Holler can provide you with more insight on how risky is it to run it. How would I go about locating another 18" 12-port rotor from a Model-5 which uses a gib key on a 1-1/8&qu...

Re: Kansas state wide Tornado drill 2015

Texas doesn't do it because typically the sirens are tested monthly (and in some cases weekly) along with a host of other practice type drills that are run throughout the state during the year.
