That really didn't sound too bad. We have one or two of them around hear that sound at that pitch, and one of them has been doing it since at least 2008, so there may be nothing wrong with this one.

The echo on the wind-up is epic. This siren has a unique low undertone, probably due to an issue with at least one of the rotors, like Archon said. Nevertheless, it makes it sound great.
