The Siren Board

Wanting to post a video to the board with the embeded player like many others do, but don't know how? No problem. I will show you how and include Google Maps as a bonus!


Embedding YouTube videos:

Every YouTube video has a video ID code. For desktop links, you will find it after watch?v=. For mobile links, you will find it after youtu.be/.
After you copy the video ID code, you simply click the youtube button at the top to attach the BBCode. After it appears, simply paste in the video ID.

It will look like this:
In turn you will get something like this:

Embedding Google Maps:

This is probably the most difficult one to do, but it's not impossible.

1. Open the map you want to use in your browser.

2. Click the more button as if you were exporting it to a KML.

3. Click Embed Map or Embed on my site.

4. You will see an HTML code appear. What you need to do is simply select ONLY the URL for the map in the popup box.

5. In your post, click the googlemap button to attach the BBCode.

6. Simply paste in the link you just grabbed.
