Yeah, it's an old Craftsman cast iron 1 HP. Overkill for what it is now but my plan is to eventually add a 10 or 12 port rotor on the other side.

Just one question, have you tried making one of your sirens with directional vanes (Straight blades, opposed to this one's, which is a non-directional)? IIRC there's a post by Alfie W(?) telling about it, I summed 'em up by the previous sentence.
