Japanese Siren Spotted

Tue Oct 02, 2018 2:22 am

In this railway video shot in Aomori, Japan, aboard the JR "Super Swan 1" No.1 Aomori-to-Hakodate, at the 21:00 mark, we can see a red Japanese siren on the right side of the video. It almost looks like an STL-10, but its not. Any clue as to what is it?

Sincerely yours,

I don't know the name of them, but those seem to be common in Japan. They are 6 port single tone, and since they have 60hz power in Japan, that would sound an octave lower than a 12-port siren here. I have seen recordings of them before but I can't find any right now.
I have an unhealthy obsession with mini sirens.
