This is the worst 3T22 I have heard.. I told the fire chief about the issue. Siren is a 3T22B. Appears the brushes are the actual cause of the issue.

Sounded excellent on first wind up, but everything after that is just a train wreck.

Was the motor contactor still fine?
Contactor works, but I am not exactly sure what is causing the siren to sound sick. I was told by the fire chief it's been sounding like that for a long while.
