2t22 and Allertor in Attack - Blue Rapids, KS

I made my way up to Blue Rapids again for the statewide tornado drill. Unfortunately I had some problems and didn't catch the windup. But the sirens still blew for five minutes in attack.
Blue Rapids has 2 allertors and 2 2t22s. Last time I recorded it sounded like there was a high pitched siren, but I wonder if it was one of the 2t22s because I've search high and low and cannot find any more sirens. This time around the east allertor didn't sound, or the rotor is broken. I didn't hear it and went back by and it hadn't moved. Not sure if I hear the north 2t22 either. The other two sirens made a ton of noise.

Awesome ambience!! That 2T22 is really high pitched, wonder if it has a blocked intake or something. I still wonder what that weird high pitched thing in your older video was, too bad it didn't sound (or it's not there anymore) this time. I definitely don't think it was a 2T22 either.

One interesting thing to note about this system is that all the sirens are linked to one timer which activates them via phone relay. This results in them all winding up and shutting down at the exact same time, which creates for an awesome effect and a much more synchronized attack signal.

Maybe the previously-heard (but isn't heard in this video) Modulator-pitched siren was one of the 2T22Bs with a blocked low-tone intake?

The remaining 2T22B seems to have gotten higher-pitched since the last video, which is unusual. Wonder why.

2T22Bs with a blocked low-tone intake?

It's a 2T22, not a 3T22

edit: actually, I guess blocked top intake could happen to both...

That's a great ambience! Very haunting sounding too as well.

A tidbit for anyone who cares: the two allertors are a couple of the 200 the Army Electronics Command bought and installed in the D.C. area originally as indicated by the tag on the motor cover.

I've always hypothesized that whatever the high pitch thing is sits atop the grain elevator. Can't really think of anywhere else it'd be, if I'm honest.
