Installed in 1980. Replaced in the early 1990s.
Only ACA siren in the Franklin Co. system.

EOWS-612 installation, date and location unknown, from a satire news article that nearly gave me a stroke:
"This is the latest version of the WPS-2900," city manager Bruce Moore said with pride. "She's a 315 db, omnidirectional, dual-tone siren with single-phase motor manufactured by SafetyCom, the Lexus of the industry."

Here's a 1953 photo from a newspaper clipping of one of Cincinnati's Thunderbolts being tested for the first time. It was the old 1000T that is on top of Patheon in Reading, Ohio. I'm told that this was the first Thunderbolt installed in Cincinnati, OH.

It’s still standing today, but obviously inactive.
Resident of a county with big a mixture of sirens, but in the process of being replaced. :(

Yessir, that's on my old Franklin County legacy map. I have an article from The Columbus Dispatch about it, from 1980.
