This is correct as far as I know. Met up with several siren people last weekend and it was mentioned that the P-50 from TC was down and at that yard.

Very cool! Do you have any pictures you can share by chance?

Can't wait to get some pics of that motor if anyone buys this.
Down to a Thunderbolt chopper, still a few goofy flashlight-siren combos, and a Model L.

It's a crappy video, but I forgot I had a video of it doing the attack cycle from a year or two ago. You can kinda hear a 2001 in the background. I was about a quarter of a mile away, and had the zoom set all the way. Pretty evident with the sound delay.

That P-50 was a good siren, I can remember hearing hearing it distinctly in the background of the siren ambiance from the neighboring towns where I live which is about 5 miles away from where it was. I doubt I'll be able to hear the 508 from here during future tests.

I tried to record it awhile back. The person in charge of siren activation was nice enough to do a few growl tests for me since they tested late and I had already packed up the camera.

You know that's a beast motor when you can hear it hum from that far away.

Well it seems the new 508 is on Google Satellite View....must have been installed some time ago.

Just hope someone buys and takes cares of it. Also how big is the motor?

How much did it go for?

If it's the price i think it would bring, i doubt anyone's bought it yet. Especially considering the things you would need to transport, move and store the thing. Forget about running the thing, unless you can afford a capable 3 phase generator(likely running close to the tens of thousands of dollars for one), or you actually have access to a supply capable of running it, in which case, have fun with the power bill.
