I still did not see any sirens in or around Tillamook.

Edwards did at a point (or maybe still do) rebrand Sentry's products. I have an Edwards catalog and all of Sentry's sirens were in there.

There are a few though. Currently active in the pnw we have: 2 2001s maybe more... We may have that stinking thunderbolt that I can't find up in Astoria... Inland we have a few more 2001s and thunderbolts... We may have some up near the NPP up in Washington. A couple of the universities still seem to have a few active ones and they may rotate... Anyways for ones that used to be... We had 3 thunderbolts in waldport and a bigger system in Westport. Seattle and Spokane (where the waldport thunderbolts came from) had their own system as well... Opening the range of the PNW you will find a ton of 2001s. (San Luis obispo area).

This old video lets you hear the three Gold Beach sirens, sounding in an awesome 4/4 second attack signal. The house where this was recorded (I found the house) is a block away from the square siren.

That must be the square one. Boy that's interesting... I was going to ask you: the buell horn pic... Is that what the Portland ones looked like.

The square siren is the loudest one in the video. It is on a pole in the block directly behind the house where the video was shot. The skirtless Sentry is about 1/2 mile south, and the Model 3 about a mile south.

I've never seen a photo of Portland's old horns, but I suspect that these came from Portland. There is another set of horns up in Amity just like these, as well as the single-horn (two trumpets) in Tygh Valley that I posted earlier. I've seen an old Buell ad showing one of these with straight horns, but otherwise the same.

I apparently like bringing back old threads...so my apologies.

Many of you might not know this, but I found out that the STH-10 in Florence was used as their old fire siren, back when they had a volunteer fire department. I believe the siren was only used for VFD. What I am trying to find out is what the old tsunami siren system was, and I'll make an update on it when I find out about the old system (in my own topic, of course). I just wanted to point that out. As for usage of that siren, I don't think it's used anymore, but I will also find that out.

1. The half-house 'Model 3 is a Model 5/7 indeed, by judging the 'internal siren structure' looking like the one seen on the 5/7, and the fact it seems too large to be a 3.

2. The 'HOR Paint Can' siren seems like an ED Bullard, due to its trapezoidal-looking chopper-stator (As seen from my Nokia side) and its 'thin bar' truss mount right under the intake of (Sorted from top to down) Motor-Chopper/Stator setup. Great find anyways, Dan!

3. Model A (-ish) to stop traffic? Can it be heard inside a moving car from afar? That's beyond mindblowing if they do.

Model A's are fairly loud when they're pointed at ya. Tillamook I swear had a small sentry out in the countryside at one point. I was on a road trip back in 2016 IIRC and this was back when i think agate beach still had sentries. of course those are gone now, but the pole mounts and power stuff is still there.
