Here is the same siren outside of San Diego. It's a Scream Master.

That looks nothing like the above siren to me.
I believe he 's referring to the one OP showed...

SOOooo...
While mapping out Fannin county, I stumbled across this gem in a town called Ladonia. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Ladon ... 95.9456591
Now this isn't the first time one of these has surfaced near me..... Image

So the question arises...are these scream-masters? If not, what are they?
I got pictures of these from a friend. Hold on and ima get them.

I still maintain the Grapevine siren isn't a Scream Master. It looks like a model 2 or 2V8 in an aftermarket housing. Look at that security camera vs the shadow of the siren motor/stator.

Hello, sorry for the huge 1 year bump, but actually the siren isn't a scream master, it's a B&M model 10 siren!

I was about to point this out and I can confirm, those ARE B&M Model 10s, I pictured the Grapevine Spillway siren in person and I can tell it wasn't a scream master but some sort of B&M. There is also another Model 10 on another dam in the Larger metro area.

It's a very rare siren, never seen another one before, and I don't know how it should sound but I bet it sounds very high pitched since the size of the actual motor and siren

Lavon Dam, and Grapevine spillway were completed within a year of each other, Grapevine Dam in 1952, and Lavon Dam in 1953. This was around the same time that B&M was at their height selling sirens. The ages on the sirens seem to line up and so do the shadow on one of them and the shroudless other one on the Lavon dam. The shrouds seem to be either missing because they were too weathered to continue use or be very weathered and do not resemble federal shrouds.
