Unless they got the optional radio PA system in the SiraTones, or did a custom thing, those aren't going to do anything unless you plug in a mic and speak into it.
UltraVoices comes with that. Am I right? But a value of an EOWS with a UV seems rather low, isn't it?

Putting a brand new controller on an electronic siren is basically refurbishing it.

In terms of value, sure it's cool to have the original controller, but it's no different than another SiraTone C/B you can find on 612s.

well as a matter of fact tyler, putting a new controller on is only half the job. drivers need to be serviced, as do collector rings and brushes, and the rotator assembly. drivers wear out and blow.

That stuff doesn’t wear out as much as you think. If you do regular maintenance on then like you are supposed to, then it’s irrelevant.

Electronic siren's aren't hard to refurbish. mine was face down without any back walls for almost 10 years and I Restored it in about 4 months. I made a video of the restoration a few weeks ago too-

Really electronic sirens depend on the condition of the cabinet to work. I didn't get a cabinet with mine so I use an amp instead.

If you are refurbishing the siren, the head doesn't need so much attention. The controller will (if it's old and knackered enough). If you are going the extra 9 yards replacing drivers would be an idea. Costly however.

I just looked in Historical View on Google Earth, and the newly found ballpark 812 rotated since the last imagery was taken. between 2014 and 2016 it rotates, same for 2016 and 2018.

Well, I highly doubt that 812 is active. It likely has a broken rotator and it was the wind that moved the siren head around.

If it IS still active, however, there needs to be video evidence.

There are several opportunities for me and other enthusiasts to do this. They test on the First Wednesday of every month at 1 PM and 7 PM.

You need to remember those things swing in the wind. All of those 812s have rotated since being disconnected and that ambience video I mention shows you why. The belts on them slip in wind and I have a feeling they were designed that way to prevent blowing over. The video shows an 812 turning left and right in the wind so no wonder why they are seen to rotate.
