The blower and rotator will most likely run on 3-phase, as for the voltage, anywhere from 208V to about 380V (to be confirmed).

If it's a single phase unit, I'm not too sure but my bets are on 240V.

...maybe I’ll stick with a smaller siren for the time being.

I have a Thunderbolt 1000AT that came from La Crosse, WI. It was replaced in August 2011 after it was disconnected around 2009, then it was removed in August 2011 then we got it at an auction. We still have our Thunderbolt to this day since August 2011. I also have the RCM and AR Timer from another La Crosse Thunderbolt that got removed in 2015.
I’m really glad that old unit found a home! I had always assumed they were all scrapped. I’ve been out of the loop wayyyy to long.

First up, here's an HOR S-L-8. This was an ebay purchase from Sunnyvale California. It runs off 12 volts, and has an automatic flasher for the bulb mounted on the front. It has 8 ports.

Image

Second, here's a Sparks Wirthington (Sparton) Model 214. It was manufactured in Jackson Michigan, runs off 6 volts, and was an ebay purchase from Chelmsford Massachusetts.

Image

Next here's an Edwards Model 315 (Federal Model A). It was an ebay purchase coming from Salisbury North Carolina. It runs off 120v. I still need to take the motor apart, oil the bearings, and clean up the junk, but other than that it runs pretty good.

Image

And now I figured I would save the best for last: a Federal Signal STH-10B. This came from Lynndyl Utah. I saw this on govdeals after a few people messaged me about it, and with it only being a 2 hour drive each way, I decided to jump on it. It is a 1991 model judging by the serial number, and it runs great. Eventually i'll have someone replace the brushes in it, but for now it's okay.

The interesting thing about it is it was actually replaced with an Eclipse 8 in 2010? when six of the counties in the area (including the one Lynndyl is in) received a grant to replace their fire and emergency sirens with new Federal Signal equipment. I actually ran this thing up along with the 315 and HOR on New Years, and the town loved it so much that some people actually offered to help pay for a generator and trailer for the thing through GoFundMe. So far i've raised $184, which i'm not complaining. Once I get out of Job Corps in a couple years, i'll have a job which I can use to finish the project.

Due to the size of the images, the rest of them will be on my google photos. On there you'll be able to find pictures of the tags and such.
