Here's a better link. It took me a while to find it from the original link.
Architecture preservationist. I enjoy obscure history and mapping things, and grew up around sirens. Not planning to own one.

Indeed, though an XT22 isn't the worst siren to be up close to. I've been very close to a sounding 3T22 and it didn't even remotely hurt. I certainly wouldn't want that to be a 10V or other Sentry siren though, that would bust an ear.

This FS Mod in Haifa, Israel is pretty low mounted. It’s about ear level to people who play basketball on that court.

Really cool! Notice the siren next to it as well. Didn't know FS had any sirens in Israel.
I own: One complete SiraTone, another SiraTone control module, a 1600W MC, 2 old ATI controllers, 2 round ATI horns with drivers, a ATI-DSA 4 thing, a Federal Signal FC, AR timer and Siratrol, and a small CD&F.
