I asked Ed if they exist, and he said that Sentry has produced them before but doesn't do it on a regular basis. If I'm not mistaken there's a single tone 40V1T somewhere in Massachusetts.

I think nathancovey is talking about the Sentry 40V2T (possibly a 40V1T) on top of a tall building (some Jewish center or something if I remember right) in NYC. Dunno what the 10 foot statement means.
Here is the Sentry 40V2T in video form, it is indeed mounted on a taller building and appears to have most of it's horns removed and has a very odd pitch compared to other 40V2T sirens I have heard.

Sorry, pretty sure there is no 40V1T.
I'm certain it's possible. There is a 10V1T.
Really any of Sentry's large dual-toned models can me made single-toned instead upon request. If you look on YouTube, there are several videos of 10V1Ts and 15V1Ts in Evansville, Indiana, who I believe generally prefers single-toned sirens.

I thought since there is a lowest sirens thread why not have a high mounted sirens thread.

Here is a whelen that looks to be pretty high up, as well as on a hill.

You want to see a high mounted siren, on a truss pole?
Watch this video of a Whelen WS 2000/400r. I think this one is mounted a little high. It's tall than a power pole!

This Chrysler is on top of a mountain at the Cerro Negro lookout in Los Angeles. This is it. This one wins.
